The only lawyer in this batch who publishes his own register data — his biography prints WSBA licence 39251, the admission date of 29 October 2007 and the words active and eligible to practice. We checked all three against the register and all three match. His Seattle office is by appointment; the address of record is in Brier.

The bar record

We read Justin Elsner in the Washington State Bar Association’s legal directory. Rows shaded below the line are the ones WSBA labels as coming from the lawyer, not from the Bar.

Washington never says “none”, so neither do we. The Disciplinary History section carries no entries and no statement — only a warning that in some cases discipline search results will not reveal all disciplinary action relating to a Washington licensed legal professional, and may not display links to the official decision documents. So what we can report is narrow: no disciplinary entries are displayed, and WSBA warns its search may not display everything. That is not the sentence “this lawyer has no discipline”, and we will not write the second when the register only supports the first. Every other state we use answers out loud; this one does not.

And the shaded rows might be wrong. Above that block WSBA states that the information is provided voluntarily by the licensed legal professional and might be incomplete, inaccurate, and/or out of date. Texas calls its equivalent “self-reported”. Washington says it might be wrong. Note also the Judicial Service line: asked whether this lawyer has ever served as a judge, the register answers Unknown. A register that will print its own ignorance is rarer than it should be.

What the record shows

His biography publishes his own WSBA licence number (39251), his admission date (29 October 2007) and the claim that he is active and eligible to practise. All three match the register exactly. Nobody else in this batch invites the check.Verified

His WSBA record answers “Office Type and Size: No Response” — the register printing a refusal to answer as the value. Every other listing here gives a size band or, in Adler’s case, leaves the field blank.Verified

The firm’s rideshare article is the most heavily cited page in this batch. It names RCW 46.72B.180 and RCW 48.177 for rideshare cover, RCW 4.22.005 for Washington’s pure comparative negligence rule, and RCW 4.16.080 for the three-year limitation period, and cites Uber’s own safety report, Bureau of Justice Statistics data and the Insurance Research Council.Verified

His address of record is in Brier, about fifteen miles north. His site gives a Seattle office at 2130 Westlake Avenue N and marks it By Appointment Only.Verified

What the firm says

He says he graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law and founded the firm straight out of law school in 2007, and that the firm has focused exclusively on Washington personal injury law for more than 17 years.Reported

He says clients have received settlements as high as six times the insurer’s initial offer. That is a ratio rather than a figure, and it is his claim; we have not seen the underlying cases.Reported

He says the firm has four Washington offices — Seattle, Brier, Ellensburg and Pullman — and offers free consultations 24/7 on a contingency basis.Reported

Rideshare

Uber & Lyft
elsnerlawfirm.com — an article on how long a Washington rideshare settlement takes; returns 200 from our network. The most heavily cited page in this batch
This is the firm’s own marketing. It shows they hold themselves out as taking rideshare cases — it is not evidence that they have run one, and we have not verified any rideshare case they have handled.

What we haven’t checked

Not established. The WSBA Discipline Notice Directory, a separate search we have not run. The size of his practice — the register field reads No Response. We have not reviewed court records for case outcomes, we print no settlement or verdict figures, and we have no basis for judging quality of representation. A bar check is a floor, not a ranking.
