This register displayed something — and that is the point. Every other Seattle listing on this site carries a dash on discipline, because WSBA never writes the word “none”. We have always said that a dash is not a clean record, only an absent statement. Here the register did have something, and it printed it. The dash was never hiding a green tick. What it gives is the action and the date — no case number, no decision document, no account of the conduct — alongside its standing warning that in some cases discipline search results will not reveal all disciplinary action, and may not display links to the official decision documents. We print exactly what it gives.
And the shaded rows might be wrong. Above that block WSBA states that the information is provided voluntarily by the licensed legal professional and might be incomplete, inaccurate, and/or out of date. Texas calls its equivalent “self-reported”. Washington says it might be wrong. Note also the Judicial Service line. On every other record on this site it answers Unknown. Here it answers Yes, and gives a court and a start date — the only affirmative we have found.
